The camp is scheduled for September 28th and promises an inspiring and enriching experience for young basketball enthusiasts aiming to elevate their game.

About the Camp

This exclusive one-day camp offers participants the unique opportunity to learn directly from two of college basketball’s rising stars. The program is designed to develop fundamental skills, enhance basketball IQ, and instill the values of teamwork and perseverance both on and off the court.

Meet the Athletes

Melvin Council Jr.

A dynamic 6’4″ guard, Melvin Council Jr. has made significant waves in college basketball with his exceptional athleticism and scoring ability. Transferring to St. Bonaventure University for the 2024-25 season after a standout tenure at Wagner College, Melvin brought immediate impact to the Bonnies’ lineup. At Wagner, he earned First Team All-Conference honors in the Northeast Conference, averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. Known for his explosiveness and versatility, Melvin excels at creating opportunities both for himself and his teammates, making him a formidable presence on the court.

Accomplishments:

* First Team All-Conference (NEC)
* Led Wagner College to its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory
* NJCAA Division I All-American at Monroe College
* All-time leading scorer at Monroe College with 1,400 points

Isabellah Middleton

Standing at 5’9″, Isabellah Middleton is a powerhouse guard whose skill and tenacity have distinguished her in women’s collegiate basketball. Joining St. Bonaventure for the 2023-24 season after an illustrious career at Slippery Rock University, Isabellah quickly became a cornerstone of the Bonnies’ squad. At Slippery Rock, she earned Second Team All-PSAC West honors, boasting impressive averages of 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game. Her exceptional scoring ability, defensive prowess, and leadership qualities make her an exemplary role model for aspiring athletes.

* Eight double-doubles in the 2022-23 season
* Consistent top performer in scoring and rebounding at Slippery Rock University
* Academic excellence with a major in Biology
